This course is an introduction to the hairdressing industry. In this year you will be learning the foundations of Hairdressing to equip you with skills to progress you to level 2 or an apprenticeship pathways.
These skills will enable you to take on a full Level 2 qualification next year.
Welcome to Cambridge Regional College part-time Barbering course.
This course is run over two evenings per week for one academic year from 5.30-8.30 on a Monday and Tuesday. The course includes consultation, shampooing, cutting, styling and beard trims, colouring and scalp massage. Throughout the course you will carryout on line tests for each unit and practical assessments which you will be marked as pass, merit or distinction. .Jo will give you lots of support throughout the course to help you to carryout your assessments to achieve a high grade.

These will help you to complete your course.
You will notice that the resources are split in to topics that mirror the units within the log book.
There will be new resources appearing on here all the time and your tutor will set you tasks to be completed at home or during your self study session.
If you miss any timetabled sessions then the content will be accessable on Moodle.
